The Consorci de Salut i Social de Catalunya (Spain) will host, at its headquarters, the V international workshop of the Equity-LA II project, which will be attended by researchers from all participating teams in Latin America (Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay ) Belgium and Spain. It will also have the participation of members of the international scientific committee, which support the project both in the research as in the intervention phases.

The meeting's main objective is joint discussion of possible interventions to be implemented in health services network in the Latin American countries participating on the project, to improve coordination between care levels.

Teams will present the interventions selected after the meetings held in each country with health professionals and managers of the intervention health service network. During these meetings the most important problems identified in the baseline study were characterized, major problems were selected and possible interventions to address them were chosen.

During the international workshop, a seminar in which various experiences of health care providers of Catalonia similar to the possible interventions selected by the project teams will be presented, with the aim of identifying lessons learned during the implementation process.
