2nd International Workshop

The Universidad de Chile hosted the second international workshop, that took place from 24 to 28 March and which was attended by researchers from all participating countries.

The meeting aimed to present the progress made during the first eight months of the study and discuss and plan the next stages of the project. Each country presented their health care networks participating in the coordination strategies which will be implemented between levels of care. There were also presented the characteristics of the networks that will act as a control to compare and evaluate the effects of the strategies. Finally it was presented and discussed the capacity building strategy, the dissemination of the results and especially the design, the analysis plan and the implementation of the qualitative study.

The workshop was attended by officials and staff of the participating health care services in the study in Chile.
