Results of the Equity-LA II project at the 12th European Congress of Public Health in Marseille (France)

Under the slogan Building Bridges for Solidarity and Public Health, the 12th European Congress on Public Health (EUPHA) was held in Marseille from 20 to 23 November, organized by the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and La Societé Françoise de Santé Publique (SFSP). María Luisa Vázquez, from the Spanish team of the CSC, attended the event as vice-president of the EUPHA's Migration and Health group and as the bearer of new results from the Equity-LA II project.
Two papers were presented in poster format. The first, Can clinical coordination be improved through Participatory Action Research (PAR) interventions, analyzed the factors that influenced the implementation of the interventions developed through a participatory action research process, to improve clinical coordination in public health service networks in 5 Latin American countries.
The second communication, Effectiveness of participatory interventions in improving clinical coordination in Latin America, analyzed the effectiveness of these interventions in improving clinical coordination among levels of care in the participating public health networks and showed the changes attributable to these interventions.
The congress was attended by more than 2400 participants from 50 countries around the world, who sent 2026 individual papers and 150 spontaneous table proposals.
