The UNR belongs to the public university system in Argentina and provides the community with undergraduate and postgraduate studies as well as secondary and technical training. One of its academic units, the Center of Interdisciplinary Studies, carries out the Master’s Program in Public Health in collaboration with the Juan Lazarte Health Institute (ISJL).
The ISJL is an institution that was created by the Rosario Medical Association, the UNR and the Secretariat of Health of Rosario in order to bring together interdisciplinary studies that involve reflections and practices concerning health problems.
Staff involved in the project
Principal Researcher: Mario Rovere is a Specialist in International Health and Director of the Master’s Program in Public Health of the UNR. He was a regional advisor with the OPS/PMS in Workforce Development, National Secretary of Social Policy and an advisor to international health agencies.
Coordinator and Senior Researcher: Delia Inés Amarilla, is the coordinator of the Master's Degree in Public Health at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the National University of Rosario. For ten years, he has been involved in various research projects on the evaluation of health services and training of human resources.
Senior Researcher: Marisel Colautti, is the Co Director of the Master of Public Health at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the National University of Rosario. She is a teacher and researcher in graduate and postgraduate careers related to the field of Health. She specializes in public drug policies.

They collaborated in the early stages of the project:
Irene Raquel Luppi is Director of the Department of Promotion and Research of the ISJL and Academic Coordinator of the Master’s in Public Health. She has participated in research projects on evaluation of health services, health workforce and health information systems. She teaches research methodology and is an advisor to institutions, students and professors.
Fracisco Leone is a Specialist in Public Health, Professor of Health Service Management in the Master’s Program in Public Health, and Coordinator of Technical Cooperation with the ISJL. He was Secretary for Administration and Management in the Tierra del Fuego province, and he has experience in management of various health institutions.
Alicia Aronna is the coordinator of research within the Master’s Program in Public Health, she is also the Director of Health Statistics (Secretariat of Health of Rosario), and a researcher in projects on health service evaluation, health workforce and health information systems.
