Instituto de Medicina Integral Prof. Fernando Figueira (IMIP), Brazil
The IMIP is a non-governmental, non-profit institution created in 1960, recognized by the Ministry of Education in Brazil as an academic teaching hospital and by the Ministry of Health as a hospital of reference. The primary fields of research carried out by IMIP include health services, epidemiology, maternal and child health, health policy and programs and community based programs. It also offers pre and post-graduate programs in maternal and child health, intensive and palliative care and health evaluation. Research forms part of the institutional mission of IMIP together with health service provision and teaching. The research board is made up of seven research groups registered with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNRq), among which is the Research Group for Health Care Evaluation. IMIP has participated in research programs financed by national and international entities such as the Brazilian Ministry of Health and the European Union.

Principal investigator: Isabella Chagas Samico is a pediatrician, professor and researcher at IMIP. She is the coordinator of the Research Group for Evaluation of Health Care of the IMIP (GEAS/IMIP) and the Master’s Program in Health Evaluation. She has experience in the areas of public health and health program evaluation.
Marina Ferreira de Medeiros Mendes is an odontologist, teacher and investigator in IMIP and member of the GEAS/IMIP. She has experience in the area of the public health and health program evaluation.
Cecylia Roberta Ferreira de Oliveira is an odontologist, investigator and member of the GEAS/IMIP. She has experience in the area of the public health.
