Work Plan

The research has three phases (design, national case studies, and cross-country comparative analysis). The full duration of the project is 48 months, and the four partners collaborate in all the phases.

The first phase is devoted to the necessary activities to set up the conditions for the successful development of the project. During this phase the common theoretical framework is finalised and preliminary tools of qualitative collection are defined.

The second phase is the longest of the project (24 months), and its main aim is to develop the two country studies (Colombia and Brazil). Both studies are carried out simultaneously. Activities relating to capacity of building, dissemination of results and project management take place.

Finally, the aim of the third phase is to finalise the country and cross-country analysis, to disseminate the research results and to develop strategies to improve the IHN’s performance.
